Following the award of the contract for the A55 Pen Lan Lane scheme to Balfour Beatty, the Welsh Assembly Government can announce that works will begin on site on Tuesday 6 May 2008.
An investment of approximately £2.7 million is being made to improve infrastructure in this area.
The initial works will comprise of off peak lane closures to permit the relocation of a water main and replacement of the central reservation safety barriers. The main construction works will start following completion of these preparatory works.
